Please read these terms and conditions carefully as you will be bound by them by visiting our Website. Please note that our FAQs also form part of these terms. These Terms and Conditions will apply to the purchase of goods by you. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and any disputes will be decided only by the English courts.

2. Pricing

  • The description and price of goods you order will be as shown on the Company’s Website at the time you place your order.  
  • All prices are Pounds Sterling and are inclusive of UK excise duty and Value Added Tax (VAT). 
  • In addition to the price, you may be required to pay a delivery charge for the goods, as shown during the checkout process on the Company’s website. 
  • The prices shown on the Company’s website are only applicable to sales made through the Company’s website.  
  • Promotional offers and prices are as stated with no further discounts available, unless otherwise stated. 
  • We reserve the right to alter prices and promotions at any time without notice.
  • Every effort is made to ensure that prices are accurate at all times, occasionally an error may occur, and goods may be mis-priced.  If we discover an error, we will at our discretion, either contact you by email to the address provided in your order form and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order.  If you cancel, we will refund any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card.
  • We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price or out of stock.

3. Ordering and availability of products

  • You must be of legal drinking age  in the UK (18 years old) to order on this site. We reserve the right not to deliver if we are unsure of this.
  • When you place an order online you will receive an email with the details. This acknowledges that your order has been received but not confirmed.
  • Confirmation is subject to stock, payment, description and price verification and validation.
  • Despatch confirmation email will be sent out once all checks have been carried out.
  • The contract to purchase will only be complete when you have been sent the Confirmation Email by us.  If there are any issues, we will contact you.
  • We reserve the right not to accept any order or cancel any order at any time until the contract to purchase is complete.
  • We will cancel any order that fails our credit card fraud checks, or on the advice of our payment provider, the issuing bank or the cardholder. If an order is shown to be fraudulent, we will inform the police and cancel any further orders by the same customer.
  • We only accept orders for delivery to physical UK addresses. We do not accept orders for delivery to P.O. boxes or to addresses outside of the UK

4. Security of your credit card

We take care to make Our Website safe for you to use.

  • Card payments are not processed through pages controlled by us. We use one or more online payment service providers who will encrypt your card or bank account details in a secure environment.
  • If you have asked us to remember your credit card details in readiness for your next purchase or subscription, we will securely store your payment details on our systems. These details will be fully encrypted and only used to process transactions which you have initiated.

5. Delivery

  • We will only fulfil deliveries to the UK.
  • Deliveries will be made by the Carrier to the address stipulated in your order.  You must ensure that someone is present to accept the delivery or provide alternative instructions. 
  • All deliveries are carried out by an independent courier.
  • Whilst we strive to ensure orders are delivered on time, all delivery dates and times are only estimates and not guarantees.  We will not accept liability for goods which fail to arrive within a given timeframe due to circumstances which we consider to be beyond our control.
  • The Company will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any delay in delivery.
  • Should your order arrive damaged you may either refuse the entire delivery or note down the damage with the delivery driver when receiving the goods.  We will assume the goods have been received in good condition if you accept the delivery without inspecting the goods.
  • If your order or part of your order is broken in transit, we will issue a refund for the broken items.
  • We do not hold any responsibility if the wrong address is provided on purchase so please ensure details are correctly entered. Your delivery is tracked and you will be provided with the tracking reference. If you are unable to take delivery then please ensure you leave instructions for the delivery service.
  • If you have entered the incorrect details and the product has not yet been dispatched, we will endeavour to change the delivery address. However, if already dispatched we are unable to change details.
  • If the parcel is undeliverable, it will be returned to sender. We can redispatch the products, but a new delivery charge will need to be paid by the customer and this will obviously result in a delay.

6. Returns/Cancellation Policy

  • We aim to supply our wines in excellent condition however should any wine be faulty we will provide a full refund or replacement. This does not affect your statutory rights. We may require faulty bottles to be returned to us.
  • Faulty bottles and their contents should be retained until a conclusion is reached on the course of action to be taken.
  • You may cancel your order at any time until 14  days after delivery.
  • To cancel your order please contact us through the contact form.
  • Should you decide to cancel your order after receipt of the goods, all charges (excluding carriage charges) will be refunded to your card as soon as the goods are returned to us in a merchantable condition and in the original box that you received the goodsCarriage charges for returns are the responsibility of the person returning the goods.
  • Once the goods have been received and checked all refunds will be made within 30 days.
  • In case of breakage of any bottle upon delivery, you must notify Vinohero as soon as possible through the contact form.  Upon notification you may choose to either return the broken bottles or the entire case.
  • Returned goods should be sent in the original box in which you received your goods.
  • Upon receipt of the broken bottles, we shall either refund your card for their value or replace them free of charge, depending on your preference.
  • All returns, either due to breakage or cancellation of order, shall be arranged by a courier of  our choice. 
  • The returns and cancellations policies above listed do not affect your statutory rights.

7. Data Protection

  • By providing your details to Vinohero on our web site, you consent to Vinohero maintaining, recording, holding, and using the information you give Vinohero at the time of ordering to process your orders, to improve our service to you and inform you of promotions. All data is collected lawfully and maintained in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018. (link)
  • All data held will not be passed on to any third party except for delivery purposes. Occasionally, Vinohero will e-mail you information about promotions, discounts, special offers and other wine related information. If you do not wish to receive this information you may remove yourself by selecting the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of our email communications.
