Pa Road Sauvignon Blanc is a reflection of New Zealand’s world-renowned winemaking expertise, crafted with grapes grown in the sun-soaked vineyards of Marlborough. The region’s cool, coastal climate allows the fruit to develop slowly, intensifying the characteristic bold flavours and aromatic qualities that define this wine. Pa Road’s winemakers, te Pā, take great care in selecting the best grapes to create a wine that’s lively, expressive, and showcases Marlborough at its finest.
Founder and owner of te Pā, Haysley MacDonald traces his ancestry back to the early Māori settlers who landed on Wairau Bar 800 years ago. Making Pa Road Sauvignon Blanc proudly produced by a 100% New Zealand owned, Maori family winery. Named after the historic Pa Road, an ancient pathway used by the Māori people, this wine honours the heritage and connection to the land. The road is a symbol of discovery and adventure, and Pa Road Sauvignon Blanc invites you to embark on your own wine journey. Every bottle is a tribute to the traditions of the land, paired with modern winemaking techniques to create a wine that’s both timeless and contemporary.
This dry Sauvignon Blanc offers tropical aromas with hints of grapefruit and satsuma with some floral notes. On the palate, it is crisp with grapefruit and passionfruit flavours followed by a long citrusy finish.
This is a great wine to pair with fish drizzled with lemon and herbs, or even shellfish. The soft creamy flavours of goats cheese also make another great match for this distinctive Sauvignon. Pa Road Sauvignon Blanc is a versatile choice, perfect for elevating any occasion. It’s an ideal wine for a casual afternoon gathering, summer BBQ, or elegant dinner party. Whether you’re hosting friends or enjoying a quiet evening at home, this Sauvignon Blanc brings a refreshing touch to any moment.
