The Making Of
Signature Chef Wines
James Martin Chardonnay Marsanne is an elegant white wine selected and blended by Chef James Martin, this white wine is a blend of primarily Chardonnay (80%) and Marsanne (20%), reminiscent of white burgundy, naturally suited to pairing with food. It has a golden straw appearance, with a bouquet of fresh citrus, ripe stone fruit, combined with floral aromas. Crisp and refreshing, with layers of both floral and fruity with citrus notes. The Marsanne adds texture and a gentle, nutty & buttery complexity, making this wine beautifully balanced and versatile.
James transports us to the south of France with this refined white wine. Produced near Narbonne in the beautiful Languedoc region, James worked with winemakers to select this blend, as he has done with all the wines in his range. This wine has even won a prestigious Gilbert & Gaillard Gold Award.
James Martin Chardonnay Marsanne will work best when paired with food (of course James’s is best, but you could try pairing your own!) James Martin has paired this Chardonnay with one of his recipes which is available to view on the bottle via a QR code. However, we also find pairing this wine with a variety of seafood, lightly grilled white meat, or even lightly spiced Asian cuisine works a treat.
Crafted with passion and precision, this wine embodies the spirit of classic French white wines. It’s a delight to drink, elegantly packaged, and produced to be enjoyed with food in the company of friends. If you’re a foodie, budding culinary professional or gifting a loved one, you’ll want to enjoy this again and again. Lovely!
